1746, the Dwarfie Stane , the island of Hoy, Shetland.
The skeletons of six British soldiers were found, they had been reported missing seven months earlier. Their muskets were examined, only one had been fired, their uniforms were ripped to pieces.
A closer examination of the skeletons revealed small teeth marks on the bones. Upon returning the remains to the nearest British fort an old Spey Wife was heard to chuckle at the sight.. “The Wallhuggers have feasted well” was all she said.
