On first sight the Short Leg would seem to be at a disadvantage, those tiny legs have reduced it to barely a waddle, that said they seem to manage fine.

They don’t travel far and tend to nest in a habitat that will generally provide for all their needs. A bourach will usually number between eight and twelve depending on the size of territory they inhabit.

Farmers and locals are fiercely protective of their bourachs helping ensure the survive in good numbers by strictly culling foxes ( the main predator of Short Legs) Eagles however are given free reign, if they can get through the trees without damaging themselves to snatch the odd Short Leg then they deserve it.
